What a great name for a kit!!! This new kit by Creations by Tinamarie – collabing with Che Yang and EH Studios – describes how I feel so often. I can’t wait to create something with this kit – but the reason I haven’t used it yet? Probably because I feel like I am always rushing around!

April 2011 – DST Gold Member Designer – Sahlin Studio

Pretty kit isn’t it? Sahlin Studio is the featured designer at DST this month. I’ve loved Krista’s designs since she started designing at ScrapMatters. She continues to make beautiful items and well put together kits with a wonderful style.

I went for sweet and simple with the cards this month and I just love how they turned out.

I just loved the paper and realistic leaves in this kit – so I used them to layer up a paper flower corsage pin.

March 2011 – DST New to You Designer – Colleen Lynch

 

This month’s New to You Designer is Colleen Lynch at Digidesignresort – with her kit collection Timeless Keepsakes. I made this treasure chest using a wood grain paper from the kit.

 

In this project – I also created the keyhole for the chest – I think it just needed that little detail. I learned a new technique for “cutting out” papers digitally to create that keyhole effect – and I love how it came out!

March 2011 Digishoptalk Gold Member Designer – simply.scraps!

 

 

This month’s gold member featured designer for Digishoptalk is simply.scraps by Laura Banasiak. The kit – Lucky in Love – strikes me as the perfect combo of doodley, lovey, and St. Patrick’s Dayey. I used lots of mounting tape and some yellow ribbon that I am just loving to add some fun accents to this card.
